Chain Reaction

The Visakhapatam team of bikers host B.O.Y. 2.0 for the last time this season. They have gathered to honour Kaka for his relentless work and indomitable spirit. They present him with their badge – the highest honour a biker can bestow. Bidding farewell and carrying lots of choicest blessings, Kaka moves towards Srikakulam and a new host.

Mr Amruth Baggu is the man responsible to make things happen for Bharat Organ Yatra 2.0 for the day. He is confident of one connect and hence approaches it – The Lions Club. On learning the agenda, they promise to do an event for B.O.Y. 2.0 and host Kaka. Relieved, Amruth awaits Kaka’s arrival.

However, things have evolved without Amruth’s knowledge…!

The Lions Club, on further reflection within their team, have a more impactful idea. They propose The Indian Red Cross Society (Srikakulam) about B.O.Y. 2.0 and Kaka for their involvement, which readily join in too! On The Indian Red Cross Society’s insistence, the press and media channels swarm to the venue.

One biker approached one club who in turn tapped another well-known social organisation who in turn pull the press coverage; all this for a single cause: awareness!

Eminent personalities from Srikakulam’s Lions Club and The Indian Red Cross Society have gathered to support B.O.Y. 2.0’s cause and felicitate Kaka. We thank Mr P Jagan Mohana Rao (Chairman, The Indian Red Cross Society Srikakulam and Vice Chairman, The Indian Red Cross Society AP state), Mr B Malleswara Rao (Organising Secretary), Mr N Hari Satyanaryana (M.C. Member), Mr N Appanna (M.C. Member), and Mr A Narasingarao (Treasurer) for their presence. Also, representing The Lions Club are Mr N Mohan, Mr T Appalanaidu, Dr K Someswararao, Mr K K V Puroshotham Rao, CA P Vykunta Rao, and Mr U Veeraraju to whom we sincerely pray our gratitude.

Srikakulam reinforces the concept of organ donation and its need of awareness by multiple media. Newspapers like Eenadu, Sakshi, and Sampada print the event; while TV channels like TV9 Telugu, Eenadu, and Sakshi TV air the proceedings!

Somewhere on the roads of Telangana, Raman (from Clap In TV) – who interviewed Kaka in Hyderabad for his YouTube channel – is driving with the radio playing for company. As fate would have it, Kaka’s interview is being aired on that particular channel! Raman parks his car off the road and actively listens to Kaka speak for a whole 20 minutes! Clap In TV’s YouTube video on B.O.Y. 2.0 is effectively recorded and uploaded with all relevant information. As Raman’s video is being watched online, he and ReBirth hope that it creates a shift in the viewers’ mind!

The start can be miniscule. However, no one can estimate how big it can grow into. ReBirth’s Bharat Organ Yatra 2.0 is an ideal example. People’s support, in their capacity, has made the event a success so far.
You, too, can join the chain.

Pledge to be an organ donor! ReBirth believes – ‘At last at least donate!’
